One little girl proves crows and humans can be friends.
It is clear that crows can certainly act in ways adverse to humans. We should remember that crows are wild animals. However, we should also remember that we can have a beneficial influence on crows, as fellow occupants of our planet.
The Bittersweet Life blog, for which a link is below, has provided the below illustration of gifts which crows have brought to Gabi Mann, a child living in the state of Washington, in exchange for the gifts of food and water she and her mother have provided to them, at first by accident, and now, purposefully.
The narrative to this one-picture video is by a robot and the picture never changes. But the video is short.
The video is a much-repeated story about how a child, Gabi Mann, from Seattle, would accidentally drop crumbs as she ate outside, and came to be followed by crows, who would eat what eventually became a purposeful feeding by Gabi, and leave gifts in return.

At the above website, we found this link to website of artist/illustrator, Tony Angell, who illustrated John Marzluff’s book, Gifts of the Crow, well worth a visit.
On the subject of crow gift-giving, John Marzluff has indicated that gift-giving is a trait that is regularly seen in crows.
