NASA infographic shows Pluto’s terrain, atmosphere

A complex picture has emerged with many unexpected features on Pluto.  The infographic below tells some of the story. One of the biggest surprises was the atmosphere, seen from beyond Pluto looking back at the sun which shines through the haze of the backlit Pluto.
