Since SpaceX became the first private company to participate in transporting cargo to and from the International Space Station (ISS), in 2012, space flight has taken on the aura of a community venture with individualism behind it, in the form of a company which communicates ideals and goals its fans can agree with.
Nothing illustrates that community better than the Tweets by Elon Musk, of SpaceX, and NASA astronaut, Scott Kelly.
Elon Musk is manager and CEO of SpaceX, a company which has won a Commercial Resupply Services contract (and other contracts) with NASA to deliver goods and experiments to the International Space Station, and carry their trash and other items back to earth.
Astronaut Kelly, on March 27, 2015 EDT, commenced a one-year mission in residence on the International Space Station (ISS).
