VIDEO: 5 min. 3 sec. Traffic (2000) – Robert Wakefield’s Speech
In this video the film character, Robert Wakefield, in delivering his first speech as newly appointed U. S. drug czar, realizes mid-stream that the war on drugs reaches into families which cannot consider their family members to be criminals. As such, the war on drugs is not well-founded, and is not sustainable.
In fact, the war on drugs is a war on oneself.
